Overview

Traceability & Leak Test Support

Batch traceability connects the finished SKU to the materials, filling and assembly records behind it. Leakage checks add information about the seals, liquid and test conditions for the sample or lot. Buyers should agree what is checked, how results are recorded and what happens when a unit fails. The release record should support investigation by linking results to the relevant product and lot.

01

Record Depth

Choose a lighter lot record for routine release work, or a deeper path linking formula, coil, assembly, packaging, and shipment information. Broader linkage helps investigation; a focused record keeps recurring checks easier to manage.

02

Seal Versus Draw

Prioritize seal and leakage inspection when containment is the main concern; add a draw resistance check when airflow behavior also needs review. Both may be relevant, but sample handling and acceptance should follow the actual device and liquid configuration.

03

Incoming Or Release

Incoming quality control can screen components or liquid before production, while release checks examine assembled and packed goods. Using both gives earlier visibility, but requires separate records so an incoming finding is not confused with a finished-product issue.

Agree the Inspection Plan

Define the sample quantity, conditions, checks and pass criteria for the product. Link failures to unit and lot references, then agree how rechecks or corrective actions are recorded. Packaging and transport conditions may need separate review from routine draw tests. Confirm the release record your quality team needs before the production order.
